These terms apply when you use okiboo.com or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Shipping & returns.
Orders
After you order, you receive an email confirming what you bought. A contract is formed when we send it. We may cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item is out of stock, if a price was shown in error, or if we suspect fraud.
Prices and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax, where it applies, and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken by PayPal, Stripe or Square when you place your order.
Shipping, returns and damaged items
We ship within the United States. Delivery, returns and replacement of plates damaged in transit are described on our Shipping & returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Using our plates safely
- Porcelain can break. Always supervise young children while they eat.
- Check the plate before each use. Stop using a plate that is chipped or cracked.
- The plate and silicone base are microwave and dishwasher safe. Do not use them in an oven, on a stovetop or under a broiler.
- The silicone base covers the plate for the fridge. It is not an airtight container.
- Colours and artwork can vary slightly from plate to plate and from the photos on screen.
Our content
The text, photos, designs and the okiboo name on this site belong to okiboo. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written permission.
Reviews and messages
If you send us a review, photo or message, you allow us to show it on our site and in our marketing, with your first name or initials only. Please do not send anything unlawful or anything that belongs to someone else.
Warranty and liability
We stand behind our plates and will replace any that arrive damaged, as set out on our Shipping & returns page. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the site and our products are provided “as is,” and okiboo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. For anything not covered by federal law, the laws of the State of Maryland apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
